GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper, or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps.1) Draw a rectangle that will define the conditional proportions and boundaries of the chosen drawing. 2) From the middle of the rectangle, draw one vertical and one horizontal line equally dividing the shape. 3) Draw another horizontal line equally dividing the upper half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a horizontal line equally dividing the bottom half of the rectangle. 4) Draw a vertical line equally dividing the left half of the rectangle. Similarly, draw a vertical line equally dividing the right half of the rectangle.

STEP 1. Draw an oval for the head. Underneath, sketch an oval with a larger shape and pointed ends.

STEP 4. Draw the shape of the hair and neck. Sketch the shape of the chest. Add a line at the waist and head. Mark the knees that peek out from under the dress. Draw bracelets on the arms. Detail the fingers. Add shoes underneath.

STEP 5. Make the shape of hair more distinct. Draw the ears. Add jewellery all over the body. Skethc a long element in the centre of the dress.

STEP 6. Mark out the eyes and mouth. Detail the jewellerys and dress. Draw the toes on the feet.

STEP 7. Draw the eyebrows and detail the eyes. Add more elements to the dress and jewellerys.

STEP 8. Draw a nose. Add hair to the head. Decorate the dress with folds and details.
